What is Behind the UFO Sightings?

Mr. Wyatt Had a Dream One Night on This Subject:

"I asked God what we should put in our next newsletter to help someone get to heaven.  That night I had a dream, and dreams are made of a multitude of business.  When we fall asleep our mind starts sorting out the events of the day and putting them with things of similar nature that we have experienced before, and apparently when that gets pitched in there, it kind of fluffs up the thing and you relive some of those.  So all that is on the unconscious level unless they get disturbed, like when you're eating a pickle and peanut butter sandwich or something and you can't sleep, you know, you're kind of having a shallow sleeping experience, and then you remember this stuff and it becomes your dream.  But if you dream something that you had not had any experience with in your life that would supply the data for that dream, then maybe God is speaking to you, you know, showing you something.  Now in Joel the second chapter, the Bible says, 'I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh.  Your sons and daughters shall prophesy, and your old men shall have dreams, and your young men shall see visions.'  [Joel 2:28]  Alright?

"So anyway, in this dream, I was in a big city square.  One of those that is a park, with a statue or two, and then maybe a fountain, but the rest of it is green grass.  It was packed with people, and there I was.  Well, across the street in front of me was this great big church.  It occupied the whole block to the other side of the street, and behind it was this massive graveyard.  Just a massive graveyard.  Hundreds, thousands of people.  And so anyway, somebody, when I about got oriented, and understood where I was, someone hollered, 'Look up in the sky.'  Well, I looked up, way out in the outer edge of my vision were these UFO's, dashing back and forth like a swarm of bees.  And then, out of them came these soft fuzzy lights, pink ones, red ones, green ones, blue ones.  Just about every color you can imagine.  And they all came down from there and got in a big formation at a lower level, and I mean they screeched off through the sky in the distance in a big beautiful, colorful arch and back they came, and came into the ground in back of that church, in that cemetery.  Well, in just a few minutes or less, came all these people walking and said, 'Jesus is here and we've been resurrected.'  Everybody started praising the Lord and all of this, and I thought, wait a minute, wait a minute.  Some of the people I recognized, and if they make it in the first resurrection I was really going to be surprised.  I had not heard the trump of God, I had not heard the shout of the archangel.  Christ wasn't up there for us to be caught up.  These people were not being caught up to meet the Lord in the air, they were walking out here, and all of this.  And I started telling everybody, "Folks, Satan is having his angels personate these people, he wants you to believe that the souls have been brought back and rejoined to the bodies and that they are resurrected.  But these are evil angels posing as people.'  I guarantee there were not too many listeners.  All right?  But remember this people, 'To the Law and to the testimony!  If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.' [Isa. 8:20]  The Bible speaks of signs and lying wonders in so much if it were possible they would deceive the very elect."  Read your Bibles prayerfully folks, ask God to help you to not be deceived and ask Him to use you to help others to come to Him and be saved."  April 1997 presentation, Chico, California

What is so dangerous about these "resurrected" people, is that they will be telling us to do something which is contrary to the Bible.  They will say Jesus has changed the Ten Commandments, and perhaps other things.  These angels personating  our resurrected family and friends will look, talk, and feel like the way we knew them to be.  But if we know there is no way they could be who they say they are, we will easily resist them.  Satan will attempt to lead mankind astray in his final deceptions.

The Bible speaks of Satan and his domain here on earth, "And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience...."  Ephesians 2:1-2.

"The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders"  II Thessalonians 2:9.

Ellen White, whom Ron Wyatt recognized as a true prophet of God (to learn more), speaks of events that will unfold at the end of time:

"The wrath of Satan increases as his time grows short, and his work of deceit and destruction will reach its culmination in the time of trouble.  Fearful sights of supernatural character will soon be revealed in the heavens, in token of the power of miracle-working demons."  The Great Controversy, 624

"For years Spiritualism [a ghost-like spirit existing separate from the body] has been growing in strength and gaining in popularity by advocating a certain kind of faith in Christ, and thus many Protestants are becoming infatuated with this mystery of iniquity.  It is little wonder that they are deluded, when they persistently retain the error that, as soon as the breath leaves the body, the spirit goes immediately to heaven or hell. Through the hold this doctrine has upon them, the way is prepared for the delusive working of the prince of the power of the air.  Satan personated the serpent in Eden, regarding this creature as best adapted for his line of temptations.  Satan has been increasing in skillful methods by constantly practicing upon the human mind.  It is his one purpose to complete the work which he began in Eden, and work the ruin of mankind"  Signs of the Times, 5-28-1894.  To learn more about the biblical state of the dead, click here.

Notice in the following comment how Satan used a colorful, dazzling, flying creature to deceive our first parents who walked with God and were many times more intelligent than we are:

"In order to accomplish his work unperceived, Satan chose to employ as his medium the serpent--a disguise well adapted for his purpose of deception.  The serpent was then one of the wisest and most beautiful creatures on the earth.  It had wings, and while flying through the air presented an appearance of dazzling brightness, having color and brilliancy of burnished gold.  Resting in the rich-laden branches of the forbidden tree and regaling itself with the delicious fruit, it was an object to arrest the attention and delight the eye of the beholder.  Thus in the garden of peace lurked the destroyer, watching for his prey"  Patriarchs and Prophets, Chapter 3.

Experiences of Close Friends of Mine

Back around 1980 or so, I heard a sermon by the late minister George Vandeman, who by coincidence, was part of the original 1960 expedition to Noah's Ark.  He was speaking on UFO's and made the comment that Satan can take the actual materialistic form or makeup of anything, including man, UFO, etc.; or he take a ghost-like form.  Mr. Vandeman theorized that Satan was forming these UFO's for some type of last-day deception upon mankind.

My two brothers-in-law, who were teenagers at the time, were alone one evening at home.  Their home was in the middle of a large corn field, where no other homes could be seen.  A short rain had just ended and it was getting close to dusk, when one brother looked out the front window saw something 200 yards in front of their home on a small rise, in the middle of the corn field.  It was a green ball of light, 10 feet in diameter and about 10 feet off the ground.  It formed a type of green searchlight, shining as if scanning the area.  It then went out after a short time.  Soon he and his other brother were both watching for it to reappear.  About 15 minutes later, it was shining again, this time about 50 yards to the right of the first appearance.  It reacted again as the first time, shining its beam about, but then did something strange.  As the light was shining, it suddenly turned and aimed directly at them!  It then suddenly went out.  Both brothers were afraid, and proceeded to arm themselves with long rifles for any unexpected visitors that may appear.  When their parents arrived home, they were upset, and were still staying close to their weapons in case the had an intruder.

In the early 1980's, a close colleague and friend of mine who is also a minister, was hiking one night with his teenage son atop a 5,000 foot mountain in east Tennessee.  It was around midnight and they were walking through an open field atop the mountain.  They suddenly looked up to see a UFO hovering over them, at only about 100 feet.  It was about 150 feet in diameter, dark, with opaque lights of different colors around its perimeter.  No sound could be heard from the UFO.  They watched it there in fear at first, and then becoming more bold, the son proceeded to throw a rock at the intimidator, not hearing any sound of contact.  After 15 minutes had expired, the UFO could be heard emitting a low hum, as it moved 90 degrees slowly to the right.  All of a sudden it streaked through the sky, and left in a beam of light.  To this day, my friend will not tell others of what he saw, as most people would not believe him and think he is delusional.
